At Horyaal Hive, we recognize that drug and substance abuse doesn’t just affect the individual—it deeply impacts their families too. Many Somali parents and family members struggle to understand how to properly support their loved ones, often due to cultural differences, lack of awareness, and generational gaps. In Somalia, substance abuse was not a prevalent issue, but in London, it has become a growing concern, particularly for young people.
